The aim of this special session is to create a forum for scientific debate, allowing the participants both to share experiences and present new results on tecnhiques for data coding, transmission and networking inspired on nature (neural networks, fuzzy logic, machine learning tools, evolutionary systems, etc.), as well as related emerging areas.

Topics include, but are not limited to

Adaptive signal processing techniques for estimation, equalization, synchronization and interference cancellation.
Multidimensional signal processing: hyperspectral signal characterization, coding, transmission, etc.
Multimedia encoding, transmission and streaming
Mobile and wireless communication
Vehicular networking

This special session is organized by RedTEIC (Red Temática en Tecnologías Emergentes de la Información y de las Comunicaciones). RedTEIC is a research thematic network created in 2014 and supported by the Galician Goverment. One of the RedTEIC aims is to participate in technical-scientific events that facilitate the dissemination of leading works in the area of communication and information technologies.
